- Camera settings : How they impact your image and how to use them to your advantage.
- Photography process : Having a process seriously helps you capture what you actually see, so your less distracted by all the technicalities then.
- Photography Style : I show you how to develop your own photography style.
- Composition : How you compose photographs and giving your image a meaning.
- Story Telling : A great photograph slowly unravels and tells a story, the longer you look at it, the more you see. A photograph without a story is just a snapshot.
- Mindfulness : How to get in the right mind frame for photography, this is so incredibly important for photography. If you can’t feel the image you are creating then how do you expect others to feel anything when viewing it.
- Confidence : This all helps build confidence and when you are more confident you relax, when you relax you can then be more creative.
- Knowledge :I am in a very unique position in that I am one of very few photography workshop leaders that work in multiple photography genres professionally. I am not just a landscape photographer, I am also a full time professional Fashion, Portrait and Commercial photographer, so not matter what question you have I should be able to answer it for you. It’s one of the truly unique aspects of my workshops, as let’s face it we all shoot multiple genres of photography

I have my group photography workshops where you will be one of a max of 3 people on the day (more details on that below).
I also have my One to one Photography workshops and these are the ones I really recommend as they are completely tailored to you and what you need to learn on the day. These are the workshops people benefit from most.

One to One Photography Workshops Ireland.
One to one photography workshops are without doubt the best way to dramatically improve your photography skills and also to help you enjoy your photography ventures a bit more also.
In my one to one sessions we concentrate on where you are on your photography journey and what you personally need to learn to help you improve.

Photography workshops Locations
I usually run my photography workshops in West Cork but they are also available all over Ireland (please contact me to find out more).
West Cork’s amazing beaches, cliffs, rolling fields and ever-changing light really help to set the scene and we travel to some stunning locations including Galley Head lighthouse, Long Strand Beach and Owenahincha beach as well as one or two stops along the way.
Crazily they are only 10 mins apart by car and there are no serious walking or fitness levels required.
Are my Photography workshops right for you?
Yes, they are, as my Photography workshops are suitable for all ages and skill levels, I get everyone from complete beginners all the way through to professional photographers regularly in my workshops and the age levels vary from 13 to 80+ years young.
I should also mention I don’t share behind the scenes photographs from my workshops or post on social media about them so your privacy is assured.
There is no real fitness level required as all the places are only a short walk from the car, we can of course go a bit more cross country if you prefer, for some of those special locations.
