Neewer MS150C Review and is it worth it?
Welcome to my Neewer MS150C review.
In this Neewer MS150C Review I will run you through exactly how this light has worked for me, it’s features and of course its build quality also.
I have a full video review below if you would prefer to watch a more detailed review and explanation of hoew the MS150C actually works.
So, imagine a lighting tool that’s powerful, lightweight, well built and incredibly versatile and crazily reasonably priced, well, that’s exactly what the Neewer MS150C is. I realise that might seem like a bold statement but trust me this light means serious business.
Now, it’s not just me saying that… this has been echoed over and over again by end users and experts alike, praising its performance and build quality —calling it “compact, lightweight, powerful and best of all it’s crazy cheap.”
This light fits seamlessly into my gear bag for shoots—studio work, weddings, or solo livestreaming. It’s easy to handle, offers remarkable output versatility and gives me tons of creative control. In short, it’s a total joy to use.
Neewer MS150C price.
At the time of doing this review the Ms150C was retailing for $279.99 on the Neewer website and the good news here is I have a 21% off Neewer Discount code (below) so you can save another 21% off that price again.
Now, before I got this light I was expecting a fairly basic RGB light, especially considering the price, but what I got was far more than I expected.
So, let me run you through the full feature list and specification sheet next so you can fully understand what I mean here.

Pros
- The Neewer MS150C video light is lightweight, super quiet, very bright, can be powered 3 different ways including via battery power and can be controlled via IOS and Android devices with the Neewer App.
Cons
- The output power drops when battery powered and it needs a v-mount battery or two NPF batteries and a special plate to work via NPF batteries.
